This song(s) you're listening to is one of Sarawak's dying ethnic oral art form.

Takna' (ancient poetic epic/poetic tales told in songs) is an invaluable oral entertainment in the Kayan community in Borneo. Singing along with me as the chorus (habe) were my granduncles, grandmother, grandaunt and other immediate family members at Telang Usan Hotel Kuching, Sarawak. It was a special occasion organised by non-profit group, Friends of Sarawak Museum. The video of the full performance was divided into a few parts. You may watch the remaining parts on my YouTube channel.
